Hey there! My name is Amanda!

I grew up in a small town, a girl who had big dreams of being a ballerina. I trained under two teachers and started pointe ballet when I was 11. Dance taught me about the art of discipline, strength, posture and creativity. I entered my high school beauty pageant when I was 16 years old and when I won, it led me to do pageants for the next four years. In 2006, I moved to Wilmington, North Carolina where I went to school for aesthetics. I learned everything I could about skincare and makeup which led me to work for Estée Lauder as a makeup artist in 2008. God led me back home to Hickory, North Carolina in 2009, where I met the love of my life. We bought and renovated our dream home together and have lived in downtown Mooresville for 15 years. We have since had two kids, celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary and i continued my education in the beauty industry.  In 2020, life took a turn, and I decided to stay home with my kids where it forced me to slow down and reevaluate my dreams. With support from my husband, I decided to go back to school at 37 years old to pursue my dream of being a cosmetologist. I graduated from Pinnacle Institute Of Cosmetology in 2022 and I fell in love with all things hair, especially bridal hair and makeup. When I am not at work, I love to cook, travel and spend time with my family! God has put some amazing women in my life who have pushed me to become better and I’m so grateful for his guiding hand. I am grateful for the opportunity to work in a salon that honors the Lord and I’m excited to meet all my guests as I help them to look and feel their most beautiful! I can't wait to meet you!
